This the new quilt that will commence on Saturday September 29th at 10am to 1pm. It is called a hint of pink. All the blocks will come from the book The Essential Sampler Quilt Book by Lynne Edwards. There will be 10 12inch blocks and smaller various block as fillers. These smaller blocks will be 9inch, 6inch, 3inch or 4 inch to make a more irregular setting.
This is the first block called Inner City which uses English paper piecing by hand. This is a picture from the book so it is not to clear.
These are the fabric so far with the main fabrics being black and white. The photo doesn't show the hot pink up very well.
Here are all the pieces ready to be put together to form the first block. There are 42 in this pattern and I have started to put the groups together. So I will post more photos in a weeks time.
