A site that follows on from ANZAC Day

I received my monthly newsletter today and it included a article by Jan-Maree Ball who has started a blog http://aussieheroquilts.blogspot.com.au/ The article was about making laundry bags for our soliders serving at the moment. She writes
"It sounds like such a little thing doesn't it? Well not so. The soldiers send their send their uniforms to an Afghan run laundry, in hundreds of plain white, navy or green bags with only marker pen initials on them for identification. You can imagine how hard it is to find your laundry bag among hundreds of similar ones. Apparently emails go around each day saying “someone picked up my laundry bag”.
So vist the link above to find out how you can help by making laundry bags to help our soliders. It would make a difference and show support.
